PROJECT HINT #2

Need more time? Many projects are driven by the lease expiry of the current premises. And many projects are started late. Compressed projects and timelines are manageable, but the rush can lead to missed opportunities or errors. Investigate a short lease extension with your current landlord – it often takes time for the landlord and agents to find a replacement tenant (depending on the premises and office market) so a short term lease can be amenable to all parties..

PROJECT HINT #18

Single level - where possible, keep your organisation on a single floor. Splitting the company over floor plates leads to communication issues, potential internal politics, double up of facilities and loss of usable floor space to additional corridors and circulation space on each level.
